RESEARCH INTERESTS                                                          

  • Molecularly thin 2D hybrid perovskites and their heterostructures (with other thin 2D materials) for novel physical property exploration. I am also interested in single crystal synthesis, characterization, opto-electronic and opto-spintronic device fabrications based on molecularly thin 2D hybrid perovskite.
  • Transition metal dichalcogenide (TMD) materials (i.e., MoS2, WS2, TiS2, et al) for energy storage application.
